ORDER: In this case, Taylor's petition is barred by the statute of limitations, 28 U.S.C. § 2244(d)(1)(A). In addition, the claims asserted therein are barred from review by the doctrine of procedural default. Because an appeal by the pet itioner on any of the issues raised in his petition would not merit further attention, the court DENIES a COA. The petitioner may, however, seek a COA directly from the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. It is so ORDERED. This is a final order for purposes of Fed. R. Civ. P. 58. Signed by District Judge Aleta A.
