Filing 15 MEMORANDUM OPINION OF THE COURT: Woodside's Amended Motion to Vacate, Set Aside or Correct Sentence under 28 U.S.C. § 2255 (Doc. No. 8) is DENIED insofar as it is based upon Judge Sharp's alleged failure to advise him of the right to a jury trial. The Court RESERVES RULING on Woodside's ineffective assistance of counsel claims, and his claim that this ineffectiveness led to a plea that was not intelligently, knowingly, and voluntarily made. The Court will hold an in-person hearing on those claims on February 25, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. Signed by Chief Judge Waverly D. Crenshaw, Jr on 1/11/2021.
