Filing 4 ORDER DISMISSING CASE: Plaintiffs Alisa Steverson, William Steverson, Jr., Chrisdeana Steverson, and Eli Steverson filed a pro se Complaint against Cumberland Heights. (Doc. No. #1 ). On October 26, 2020, the Court issued an Order requiring Plaintiffs to address three threshold concerns: payment of the filing fee, submission of an unsigned Complaint, and the basis of the Court's subject-matter jurisdiction. Filing 3 ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE: Plaintiffs Alisa Steverson, William Steverson, Jr., Chrisdeana Steverson, and Eli Steverson, Tennessee residents acting pro se, filed a Complaint against Cumberland Heights. (Doc. No. #1 ). They did not pay the civil filing fee or submit an application to proceed as a pauper. To proceed in this case, Plaintiffs MUST submit either (1) the full $400.00 civil filing fee to the Clerk of Court; or (2) an application to proceed as a pauper. The Clerk SHALL mail Plaintiffs a blank long-form application to proceed in district court without prepaying costs or fees for non-prisoners. To be considered a Plaintiff in this action, Alisa Steverson, William Steverson, Jr., Chrisdeana Steverson, and Eli Steverson MUST each sign the Complaint, and the signed Complaint must be returned to the Clerk of Court. Plaintiffs are ORDERED TO SHOW CAUSE why the Court has subject-matter jurisdiction over the Complaint. The Clerk's Office SHALL send Plaintiffs a blank form Complaint for a Civil Case Alleging Negligence. Plaintiffs' response to each of the three parts of this Order (filing fee, signed Complaint, subject-matter jurisdiction) MUST be received by the Court within 30 DAYS of the date of entry of this Order.
