ORDER: Leopold MPawinayo, a state pretrial detainee in the custody of the Davidson County Sheriff's Office, has filed a pro se petition under 28 U.S.C. 2241 for the writ of habeas corpus, along with attached evidentiary exhibits and a supporting memorandum. (Doc. No. #1 .) The court has conducted a preliminary review of the petition and is unable to determine whether it states a colorable claim for relief. Accordingly, the respondent MUST file an answer, motion, or other response within 30 days of the date this order is docketed. If the petitioner wishes to contest any of the facts or arguments contained in the respondent's pleading, he must do so by filing a reply no later than 30 days after the date on which the respondent's pleading is filed.
