ORDER: Morris Rucker, an inmate at the Northwest Correctional Complex in Tiptonville, Tennessee, has filed a pro se complaint for violation of civil rights under 42 U.S.C. 1983. (Doc. No. #1 .) He has further filed a "Uniform Civil Affidavit of Indigency" (Doc. No. #2 ), though the record also reflects that he attempted to pay the civil filing fee in an insufficient amount that was returned to him by the Clerk's Office. The plaintiff has moved to correct typographical errors in his complaint (Doc. No. #5 ), appending to the motion a one-page list of such errors and the corrections he seeks to make (id. at 3). This motion is GRANTED, and the Clerk is DIRECTED to file the errata sheet (Doc. No. #5 at 3) as an attachment to the complaint. The plaintiff's Affidavit of Indigency is not accompanied by a current inmate trust account statement, nor does it otherwise indicate his current account balance. It is therefore insufficient to establish his entitlement to pauper status under the statute.The Clerk of Court is DIRECTED to mail the plaintiff a new IFP application (short form). To proceed with his lawsuit, the plaintiff MUST either pay the $402 filing fee in full or complete the IFP application and return it to the court with the required certified trust account statement. The plaintiff's payment or supported application must be received in this court within 30 DAYS of the date this order is entered on the docket and must include the docket number assigned to this case: No. 3:21-cv-00555.
