ORDER: Plaintiff Nico Farmer, an inmate at Northeast Correctional Complex in Mountain City, Tennessee, filed this pro se civil rights action under 42 U.S.C. 1983. The Court issued an Order explaining why it appears that the more appropriate and convenient venue for this action is the Eastern District of Tennessee, giving the parties an opportunity to present their views on the matter of transfer. (Doc. No. #6 .) Accordingly, the Clerk is directed to TRANSFER this action to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, Northeastern Division at Greeneville. 28 U.S.C. 123(a)(2). The initial screening of the Complaint and the pending motions are reserved for the receiving Court. Plaintiff MUST send any future filings in this case to the Eastern District of Tennessee. ORDER: Plaintiff Nico Farmer, an inmate at Northeast Correctional Complex in Mountain City, Tennessee, filed a pro se civil rights complaint under 42 U.S.C. 1983 (Doc. No. #1 ) and an application to proceed as a pauper. (Doc. No. #2 .) Accordingly, Plaintiff's application to proceed as a pauper (Doc. No. #2 ) is GRANTED, and he is ASSESSED the $350.00 filing fee. The Clerk is DIRECTED to send a copy of this Order to the Northeast Correctional Complex in Mountain City, Tennessee to ensure that the custodian of Plaintiff's inmate trust account complies with the portion of 28 U.S.C. 1915 pertaining to payment of the filing fee. It presently appears to the Court that the most appropriate and convenient venue for this action is the Eastern District of Tennessee. Plaintiff and Defendant each may (but is not required to) respond to this Order to present his view on whether this case should be transferred. If neither party responds to this by the deadline with an objection to the proposed transfer, the Court will transfer this action to the Eastern District of Tennessee for the reasons stated above.
