Filing 31 ORDER: On March 25, 2022, Plaintiff filed a motion to sever certain claims for remand back to state court. (Docket No. #25 .) The motion, which at a minimum requires a determination of the proper exercise of the Court's discretionary exercise of supplemental jurisdiction, was not accompanied by a supporting memorandum of law as required by Local Rule 7.01(a)(2) and is therefore DENIED WITHOUT PREJUDICE to refiling in accordance with the Court's local rules. Also pending before the Court is Plaintiff's motion for a telephone status conference "to discuss ordering a judicial settlement conference before Judge Frensley." (Docket No. #30 at 1.) Although unopposed, the motion (Docket No. #30 ) is DENIED. To allow for the parties' anticipated mediation and because of a scheduling conflict, the initial case management conference set for May 2, 2022, is RESCHEDULED for Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at 11:30 a.m., by telephone conference. Signed by Magistrate Judge Barbara D. Holmes on 4/15/2022.(DOCKET TEXT SUMMARY ONLY-ATTORNEYS MUST OPEN THE PDF AND READ THE ORDER.)(ln) |
