DOCKET TEXT ORDER: Plaintiff's #6 Notice of Law Student Entry of Appearance is deficient because it does not comply with DUCivR 83-1.6(e), which requires a law school certification "in the form provided on the court's website." The #6 notice includes a state court law school certification form, which does not address the same requirements as DUCivR 83-1.6. For example, the state court form only requires two semesters of law school, while DUCivR 83-1.6(b)(2) requires four semesters. The state court form also lacks a certification that the law student has "good character, competent legal ability, and necessary qualifications" as required under DUCivR 83-1.6(b)(3).
