Date Filed Document Text
May 29, 2019 Opinion or Order Filing 5 ** TEXT ONLY ORDER ** Pro se plaintiff Michael Hoskins has filed notices of voluntary dismissal for the following cases: 19-cv-139-jdp, 19-cv-293-jdp, 19-cv-304-jdp, 19-cv-322-jdp, 19-cv-337-jdp, 19-cv-341-jdp, 19-cv-342-jdp, 19-cv-362-jdp, 19-cv-407-jdp, and 19-cv-408-jdp. All of these cases will be terminated in accordance with Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(a)(1)(A)(i). Hoskins also asks for the return of the portions of the filing fees that he already paid. The court already screened No. 19-cv-139-jdp in accordance with 28 U.S.C. 1915(e)(2) and 1915A, so the request is DENIED as to that case. Hoskins owes the full filing fee for No. 19-cv-139-jdp. But the request is GRANTED as to the other cases for which Hoskins has paid a portion of the filing fee (Nos. 19-cv-293-jdp, 19-cv-304-jdp, 19-cv-322-jdp, 19-cv-337-jdp, 19-cv-341-jdp, and 19-cv-342-jdp) because those cases have not been screened and the defendants have not been served. The court will not collect any filing fees for those cases. Signed by District Judge James D. Peterson on 5/29/2019. (jef),(ps)
