On May 7, 2021, the Court held an informal telephonic discovery conference to discuss Defendant's objections to Plaintiff's interrogatories related to medications and substances used by Officer Norris. After hearing from the parties, the Court found the requested information is marginally relevant, subject to limitation, to the claims and defenses in this action and proportional to the needs of the case. The discovery is limited in scope to six months before the June 17, 2017, incident and extends through the August 25, 2017, incident. The interrogatories are also limited to only those medications and substances that are arguably mind or mood altering. The information is also subject to the terms and conditions of a protective order that shall be agreed upon by the parties. This ruling does not address the admissibility of any of the information.
