Filing 66 MEMORANDUM OPINION & ORDER:1. Coleman's motion for the Court to compel the Warden to inform him why he has not been scheduled for a parole hearing, given his revised PED, and his request that he be scheduled for a parole hearing in June of 2015 [R. 58 ] is DENIED AS MOOT; 2. Coleman's filing construed as a motion to order the Warden to advise him why he has not received certain Education Good Time Credit for obtaining his GED, his Paralegal Associate Degree, his Culinary Arts Trainin g, and other BOP Educational Good Time, Meritorious Good Time, and other statutory good time [R. 59] has no merit and is DENIED; 3. Respondent's motion to dismiss Coleman's § 2241 petition as moot [R. 61] is GRANTED IN PART, in respect to Coleman's claim that the BOP had erred in computing a PED of March 22, 2021, and in respect to Coleman's claim that he is entitled to be scheduled for his initial parole hearing; 4. Colemans remaining claim in his § 2241 petition t hat he is entitled to additional good time credit on his sentence than that awarded by the BOP is without merit and is DENIED; 5. Coleman's petition for a writ of habeas corpus [R. 1], as amended and supplemented, is DENIED, in part as moot and in part on the merits; 6. Filing 5 MEMORANDUM OPINION & ORDER: IT IS ORDERED that: 1. The Respondent in this action is Richard B. Ives, Warden at USP-McCreary. The Clerk is directed to term Charles E. Samuels as a named respondent. 2. The Warden is directed to file a respons e to Coleman's habeas petition. The Clerk shall prepare the documents necessary for services of process upon Coleman's custodian, Richard B. Ives, Warden, USP-McCreary, Pine Knot, KY. 4. The Clerk shall prepare a "Service Packet&quo t; consisting of the following for service of process upon the US: see a-d. 5. Add'ly, the Clerk shall make a copy of the a-d, with each set containing the following: See 5. a-d. 6. The Clerk shall present the Service Packet(s) and copies t o the USMS in London, KY. 7. Service of Process upon the Respondent, Richard B. Ives, Warden, shall be conducted by the USMS in London, KY, by serving a Service Packet personally upon him, thru arrangement w/FBOP. 8. The USMS must complete servi ce on teh named respondent by serving the copies described in paragraph 4 by certified or registered mail to: a. US Atty for EDKy; b. Office of the Atty General of US in Washington, D.C.; and c. one set to the Office of FBOP in Washington, D.C. 9. The petitioner SHALL: a. Immediately advice Clerk of any change in mailing address. Failure to do so may result in dismissal of case. b. Communicate w/the Court solely thru notices or motions filed with the Clerk's Office. The court wi ll disregard correspondence sent directly to judge's chambers. c. Certify in writing that he has mailed a copy to every dft and state the date of mailing.
