The court will allow the plaintiff to proceed anonymously for now based, inter alia, on authority from this circuit including Doe v. Colgate Univ., No. 5:15-CV-1069 (LEK), 2016 WL 1448829 (N.D.N.Y. Apr. 12, 2016). After hearing the defendant's position at the scheduled Rule 16 conference, the court will make a final determination on the plaintiff's motion to proceed anonymously. Pending a further order from the court, Defendant (and its agents, employees, and representatives) are prohibited from publicly identifying Plaintiff by name or other unique identifier, in court filings or otherwise.
