Date Filed Document Text
March 6, 2014 Opinion or Order Filing 47 ORDER AND OPINION ON PETITION FOR WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS: The Court denies Ward's petition for a writ of habeas corpus. In accordance with Federal Rule of Appellate Procedure 22(b) and 28 U.S.C. § 2253(c), and after considering the record in this case, the Court denies Ward a certificate of appealability because he has failed to make a substantial showing of the denial of a constitutional right. If Ward files a notice of appeal, he may proceed in forma pauperis on appeal. (Ordered by Judge David C Godbey on 3/6/2014) (axm)
