On 12/8/2014, upon reviewing Defendants' motion to stay proceedings and Plaintiff's opposition thereto, the Court held a teleconference with counsel. In the motion, Defendants ask that the Court stay the case in order to allow Judge Jorge Solis, who presides in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas, to rule on a pending motion to dismiss in a related case that Defendants filed against Plaintiff. Because the case in the Northern District of Texas was filed first, the Court hereby grants Defendants' motion and stays the case. During the teleconference, the Court offered to mediate the case if the parties agree to keep the case in Texas if mediation is unsuccessful. Counsel agreed to confer with their respective clients and advise the Court as to whether their clients would like the Court's assistance with mediating the case.
