ORDER: By Order dated 8/2/2023 (Doc. #5 ), in forma pauperis status was granted and service of process was deferred pending threshold review pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1915(e). Having now conducted such review, the Magistrate Judge finds that the Complaint is sufficiently pleaded to move forward. The clerk's office ordinarily would be directed to serve the defendants with process via certified mail. However, the record indicates that the clerk's office previously sent a notice to Plaintiff on 7/27/2023 that she "failed to include a proposed summons on the defendant(s) in this case." (Doc. #3 ). The notice specifically directed Plaintiff to file proposed summons as soon as possible and included a link to access the necessary forms. (Id.). Because Plaintiff has not yet complied with that directive, it is hereby ORDERED that Plaintiff file proposed summonses no later than 9/22/2023. The clerk of court is DIRECTED to provide Plaintiff with both a copy of the prior notice (Doc. #3 ) and a copy of this Order. Signed by Magistrate Judge Chad W. Bryan on 9/8/2023.
