ORDER: Now pending before the Court is the Plaintiff's #5 Motion to Remand, filed on 1/6/2020, wherein she asserts that this Court lacks jurisdiction over the case because the amount in controversy does not exceed $75,000. (Doc. #5 ). It is ORDERED that if, no later than 2/17/2020, the Plaintiff files a personal affidavit with the Court stating that at the time the suit was filed she intended to limit her total claim for damages in the suit to not more than $75,000, exclusive of interests, and costs; that she does not intend to claim any more in total damages than that, now or in the future; and that this limitation of damages shall be binding on herself, her heirs and assigns; this case will be remanded to state court at that time.
