TEXT ORDER: The Court has before it several motions that Mr. Pittman has filed in the past week, including a motion to consolidate this civil matter with a criminal matter, (Doc. #7 ). As the Court has explained to Mr. Pittman, he may have to bring his challenges concerning the criminal proceedings in the related criminal matter. Before the Court may rule on any motion in the civil matter, the Court first must determine whether it has jurisdiction over one or more of Mr. Pittman's requests for civil relief. Judge Johnson has jurisdiction to address issues concerning the criminal matter. The Court asks the Clerk to please file under seal the motions pending in this civil matter in the criminal case number that Mr. Pittman has included in his recent filings. The Court is aware of Mr. Pittman's request for emergency relief. The Court will not be able to address that motion until it resolves the jurisdictional question. Even if it has jurisdiction, the Court will defer ruling in this civil matter until Judge Johnson has had a chance to consider the impact of Mr. Pittman's motions in the criminal matter.
