Filing 7 ORDER: Petitioner, a prisoner at the United States Penitentiary at Thomson, Illinois, has filed a 28 U.S.C. 2241 petition challenging his conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. 922(g). He has neither paid the $5.00 filing fee nor submitted an in forma pauperis (IFP) application demonstrating his inability to pay it. Also, his petition is not on this court's form, which asks for procedural history information not included in the current petition. See N.D. Ill. Local Rule 81.3. Accordingly, the current petition #1 is dismissed without prejudice to petitioner submitting an amended petition. By March 4, 2020, petitioner must both: (1) resolve the filing fee requirement either by paying the $5.00 fee with a check or money order made payable to the Clerk of Court, United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois or by filing a completed IFP application; and (2) submit an amended 2241 petition on this court's form. His failure to comply will result in summary dismissal of this case without prejudice. The Clerk of Court shall send a blank 2241 petition form and a blank IFP form to petitioner.
