Civ. P. 7.1 and S.D. Ala. CivLR 7.1. Fed. R. Civ. P. 7.1 requires disclosure of "any parent corporation" regardless of whether the parent has sold or issued shares or debt securities to the public. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 7.1(a)(1). Similarly, the disclosure requirements of CivLR 7.1, which are broader than those of Fed. R. Civ. P. 7.1, see Fed. R. Civ. P. 7.1 advisory committees note to 2002 adoption ("Rule 7.1 does not prohibit local rules that require disclosures in addition to those required by Rule 7.1."), require identification of "all parents, subsidiaries, partners, members, managers, trustees, affiliates, and similarly related persons and entities[,]" regardless of whether such entities have sold or issued shares or debt securities to the public. S.D. Ala. CivLR 7.1(b). Master Marine, Inc. is ORDERED to file an amended disclosure statement that cures the foregoing defects no later than 7/19/2022 (form available at: https://www.alsd.uscourts.gov/forms/all-forms).
