On Page 2 of the Status Report, Attorney Mkrtchyan cites generally to Declaration of Counsel without providing a pin cite to a particular paragraph in thedeclaration. Furthermore, Attorney Mkrtchyan isPROHIBITED from filing any document other than a FRCP 41 dismissal before the upcoming hearing; any such document will also be summarily stricken. The Court finds this further sanction necessary to deter continued violations of the Rules and Orders of Court. May 2, 2022 Opinion or Order Filing 238 MINUTES (IN CHAMBERS) by Judge Otis D. Wright, II: Order SETTING Status Conference re: Settlement. The Court received and reviewed Attorney Bradley C. Gage's request to withdraw from representation of Plaintiff Christopher Williams #237 . The Court hesitates to grant the request given that mediation between Attorney Gage and Attorney Mkrtchyan purportedly took place on April 22, 2022, and that there is no indication in the record that this mediation led to a resolution or that Mr. Williams, the client, has received his settlement funds,a goal that should be the top priority of both attorneys at this point. The Court therefore defers ruling on the request to with to withdraw and hereby SETS a Status Conference re: Settlement, to take place on May 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. via Zoom. Attorney Gage and Attorney Mkrtchyan are ORDERED to attend. Mr. Williams is permitted and encouraged to attend and speak to the Court if he wishes to do, but Mr. Williams is not required to attend or participate. The purpose of this hearing is to ensure that both attorneys are fulfillingtheir ethical obligations by ensuring their client has his settlement funds without further delay. If Williams is not in receipt of his settlement funds by the date of the hearing, the Court expects an extremely compelling justification for the continued failure. Absent such justification, the Court will impose monetary or other sanctions on the attorney(s) responsible for the failure The Court will vacate this hearing upon receipt of Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41-compliant dismissal documents or other documents showing Mr. Williams has received his settlement funds. Counsel shall immediately transmit a copy of this Minute Order to Mr. Williams.deferring ruling on #237 Request to Substitute Attorney. (lc)

December 8, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 170 MINUTE ORDER IN CHAMBERS by Judge Otis D. Wright, II: Having received and reviewed Plaintiffs counsels Response, (ECF No. 169), to the Courts December 6, 2021 Order to Show Cause, (ECF No. 167), the Court hereby DISCHARGES its December 6, 2021 Order to Show Cause. Moreover, the Court received and reviewed the additional motion in limine document Plaintiff filed on December 6, 2021 (supplement, ECF No.168). The Court finds good cause to accept the 12/6 Supplement and to consider it in ruling on the motions in limine. As all motions in limine are already briefed, however, considerations of justice and fairness compel the Court to give Defendants an opportunity to respond to Plaintiffs newly raised arguments. Accordingly, Defendants are GRANTED permission to file a single Response, of no more than seven (7) pages, to the 12/6/21 Supplement. Any such Response is due no later than seven (7) days from the date of this Order. Any topics in Defendants Response that are not directly responsive to the material in the 12/6/21 Supplement will be disregarded.
