The parties have represented that they are unable even to begin conducting much of their discovery until they obtain the juvenile dependency records at issue in this case, for which they have recently filed requests with the Los Angeles Superior Court. If the Los Angeles Superior Court is able to expedite the process of reviewing the parties' petitions and releasing the requested juvenile dependency records, such expedited process would serve the interests of justice and judicial efficiency in this action, which this Court would appreciate. Accordingly, this Court respectfully requests that the Los Angeles Superior Court expedite the parties' petitions to the extent it can do so consistent with its other obligations.
