(Doc. 26 ). The following allegations are stricken from the First Amended Complaint pursu ant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 12(f): page 2, line 26 through page 5, line 28; page 32, line 21 through page 33, line 12; page 46, lines 22 through 28; and page 53, lines 4 through 11. The motion to strike the request for punitive damages aga inst the City and the SDPD is granted. The motion for more definite statement pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 12(e) is denied. All remaining City Defendants shall file an Answer to the First Amended Complaint no later than fourteen (14) d ays from the date this Order is filed. The Motion to Dismiss filed by the Sheriff's Department is granted. (Doc. 27 ). All claims against the Sheriff's Department and Sheriff William Gore are dismissed.
