As Respondents note, (see ECF No. #5 at 1), Petitioner received a bond hearing on March 6, 2026, pursuant to a prior petition for writ of habeas corpus filed in this District under 28 U.S.C. 2241. See Petitioner's Reply at 1, Jackson v. LaRose, Case No. 26-CV-392 BTM (VET) (S.D. Cal. filed Mar. 23, 2026), ECF No. 13. The Court therefore DENIES AS MOOT the instant #1 Petition. To the extent Petitioner wishes to challenge his criminal conviction, Petitioner should file a habeas petition in the district in which the challenged judgment of conviction was entered, see Dunne v. Henman, 875 F.2d 244, 248 (9th Cir. 1989). which appears to be the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut.
