ORDER entered: In an order entered August 20, 2021 in case no. 2:16-cr-00085-GZS-1 (D. Me.), the district court certified pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1915(a)(3) and Fed. R. App. P. 24(a)(3)(A) that this appeal is not taken in good faith. If petitioner-appellant Carlos Manuel Perez-Crisostomo seeks to challenge the district court's certification, he must file a motion pursuant to Fed. R. App. P. 24(a)(5) on or before November 5, 2021 . "The motion must include a copy of the affidavit filed in the district court and the district court's statement of reasons for its action. If no affidavit was filed in the district court, [appellant] must include the affidavit prescribed by Rule 24(a)(1)." Fed. R. App. P. 24(a)(5). Accordingly, on or before November 5, 2021 , appellant must either pay the $505 filing fee to the district court or file a motion in this court pursuant to Fed. R. App. P. 24(a)(5).
