To the extent that Howell requests court funds for litigation expenses and to pay for an attorney, the requests are denied . The clerk's office also will send Howell a separate letter specifying the costs for copies of appellate court docket entries. Plaintiff-appellant Curtis Howell seeks to appeal the district court's May 5, 2022 order denying without prejudice a number of his motions, and ordering him to file an amended complaint. It appears that this Court may lack jurisdiction because that order is not a final judgment or appealable order, and appellant's claims remain pending in the district court. In addition, it appears that this appeal may be untimely. Accordingly, plaintiff-appellant is ordered to either: (i) move for voluntary dismissal of this appeal pursuant to Fed. R. App. P. 42(b); or (ii) show cause, in writing, no later than July 27, 2022 , why this appeal should not be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction.
