By order entered August 15, 2023, plaintiff-appellant Hamid Reza Ardaneh was directed to show cause in writing why this appeal should not be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction, as this Court may lack jurisdiction because there does not appear to be a final judgment or appealable order in the case, and Appellant's claims remain pending in the district court. The order warned appellant that failure to respond by August 29, 2023 would lead to dismissal of this appeal for lack of diligent prosecution. Appellant has failed to file a response to the court's order to show cause. Accordingly, it is hereby ordered that the above-captioned appeal be dismissed in accordance with 1st Cir. R. 3.0(b).
