ORDER to Show Cause entered. This court has received a copy of an order from the New Hampshire Supreme Court indicating that Attorney William C. Sheridan (the "Respondent") resigned from the New Hampshire bar while under investigation for professional misconduct. Respondent is directed to show cause, to the extent applicable grounds exist, why Respondent should not be stricken from the roll of attorneys admitted to practice before this court. See Rules of Attorney Disciplinary Enforcement for the Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, Rule III(A). Failure to respond on or before January 12, 2024 will result in Respondent being stricken from the roll of attorneys of this court. It is further ordered that service of a copy of this show cause order, together with a copy of the New Hampshire Supreme Court order accepting respondent's resignation, shall be made forthwith upon Respondent by regular and certified mail, return receipt requested.Certified mail receipt number: 7020 0640 0001 5477 8867.
