ORDER entered: This court has docketed plaintiffs-appellants' pro se appeal from the judgment that entered on May 30, 2024 in No. 1:24-cv-00217-JJM (D.R.I.). The notice of appeal is signed only by plaintiff-appellant John Kotei Kotey, purportedly on behalf of both himself and co-plaintiff-appellant Queencilla Naa Adaku Hammond. Although Fed. R. App. P. 3(c)(2) provides that a pro se notice of appeal is considered filed on behalf of the signer and the signer's spouse, a lay person may represent only themselves. See Herrera-Venegas v. Sanchez-Rivera , 681 F.2d 41, 42 (1st Cir. 1982).
