ORDER entered by Sandra L. Lynch, Appellate Judge; Jeffrey R. Howard, Appellate Judge and William J. Kayatta, Jr., Appellate Judge. This is an appeal from certain orders entered in the District Court for the District of Massachusetts. The appellants have filed an "Emergency Motion for Stay Pending Appeal and Administrative Stay of the District Court's Order of Sale and to Enjoin Appellee's December 22, 2025 Foreclosure Sale." The motion seeks both stay relief and injunctive relief. The motion was opposed. We review the motion liberally because the appellants are pro se. See Erickson v. Pardus , 551 U.S. 89, 94 (2007) (per curiam). After careful review, we conclude that the appellants have not met their burden for a stay or for injunctive relief. Nken v. Holder , 556 U.S. 418, 434 (2009) (stay factors); Bos. Parent Coal. for Acad. Excellence Corp. v. Sch. Comm. of Bos. , 996 F.3d 37, 44 (1st Cir. 2021) (noting that "[w]hen considering a request for injunctive relief pending appeal, we consider the same factors [as with a stay request], but the bar is harder to clear"). Accordingly, the motion is DENIED . [25-2123] (GB) [Entered: 12/19/2025 02:03 PM]
