Filing 702188451 Filed opinion of the court by Judge Kanne. We AFFIRM in part and REVERSE in part. We reverse the district court's grant of habeas relief based on Richardson's defaulted challenge to the prosecution's use of peremptories; he has not show cause to excuse his failure to contemporaneously object. We affirm the district court's denial of Richardson's petition on evidentiary/due process and ineffective assistance grounds. The summary effect is that Richardson's petition for a writ of habeas corpus is denied in full. Diane P. Wood, Chief Judge, dissenting; William J. Bauer, Circuit Judge and Michael S. Kanne, Circuit Judge. [6558755-1] [6558755] [12-1619, 12-1747] |
