October 20, 2023 Opinion or Order Filing 14 ORDER FILED. W. FLETCHER, CALLAHAN, and BENNETT, Circuit Judges. The motion to dismiss this petition for lack of jurisdiction (Docket Entry No. 11) is granted. See 15 U.S.C. 78y(a)(1) (limiting right to obtain review of a final order of the SEC to persons aggrieved by the order); United States v. Good Samaritan Church, 29 F.3d 487, 488 (9th Cir. 1994) (A party may not appeal from a judgment or decree in his favor, for the purpose of obtaining a review of findings he deems erroneous which are not necessary to support the decree. (citation omitted)); see also Va. House of Delegates v. Bethune-Hill, 139 S. Ct. 1945, 1950-51 (2019) (noting that any person invoking the power of a federal court must demonstrate standing, which requires an injury from the challenged action that is likely to be redressed by a favorable decision (citations omitted)). Because petitioner is not aggrieved by the challenged order dismissing proceedings against him, we dismiss this petition for lack of jurisdiction. DISMISSED. [Entered: 10/20/2023 02:11 PM]
