Minute ORDER by Magistrate Judge N. Reid Neureiter on 28 September 2022. In light of the filing of a Complaint, it is hereby ORDERED the Order to ShowCAUSE (Dkt. #10 ) is DISCHARGED. However, the current file on the docket (Dkt. #13 ) appears to be a picture of Plaintiff's Complaint. Many pages are difficult to read or illegible due to the quality of the image. It is therefore ORDERED that Plaintiff shall re-file her Complaint on or before October 11, 2022 by either (1) emailing a scan of the complaint, rather than a photograph, to the Clerk of Court, (2) mailing or delivering a paper copy to the Clerk of Court, or (3) registering as a pro-se e-filer. The Court also notes that it appears Plaintiff attempted to serve subpoenas on several entities. First, service of subpoenas must be effected pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 45(b). Upon review of the docket, it appears that Plaintiffs current efforts to serve are ineffective. Second, and more importantly, under Fed. R. Civ. P. 26(d)(1) "a party maynot seek discovery from any source before the parties have conferred as required by Rule 26(f)." A Rule 26(f) Conference generally takes place 21 days before a Scheduling Conference. No Scheduling Conference has been set at this time, so Plaintiff is not permitted to proceed with any discovery, including issuance of subpoenas. PLEASE READ ATTACHED MINUTE ORDER. (cmadr, )
