May 24, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 7 ELECTRONIC ORDER. On April 16, 2021, the Court issued a Notice of Insufficiency informing Plaintiff of a deficiency in his #2 Motion for Leave to Proceed In Forma Pauperis. See Doc. 6 . Plaintiff was notified that if this deficiency were not corrected by filing a new application to proceed in forma pauperis before May 7, 2021, his complaint would be dismissed. Id. No renewed application was timely filed, nor has any such application subsequently been filed, nor indeed has Plaintiff requested an extension of time to file such an application. Plaintiff furthermore has failed to pay the filing fee required of all litigants not determined to be eligible for in forma pauperis status. "[W]hile pro se litigants may in general deserve more lenient treatment than those represented by counsel, all litigants, including pro ses, have an obligation to comply with court orders." McDonald v. Head Crim. Ct. Supervisor Officer, 850 F.2d 121, 124 (2d Cir. 1988). Accordingly, Moran's #1 Complaint is DISMISSED, without prejudice. Plaintiff may move to reopen this case if he files a new application to proceed in forma pauperis as instructed by this Court's order dated April 16, 2021, and furthermore demonstrates good cause for failing to comply with that order.
