MINUTE ORDER: The Court has received Defendants' #6 Consent Motion to Extend Time to Answer or Otherwise Respond to Complaint. Defendants' response to Plaintiffs' complaint was due by September 4, 2018. The #6 Motion seeks to extend Defendants' obligation to answer or otherwise respond to Plaintiffs' complaint until September 28, 2018. Defendants' counsel explains that he requires this extension of time because he was not retained until August 31, 2018, and he needs additional time to draft an answer or otherwise respond to the complaint. Defendants' counsel represents that Plaintiffs have consented to the relief sought on the condition that Defendants' counsel agrees to accept service on behalf of those Defendants who have not yet been served. Defendants' counsel has consented to this agreement. The Court GRANTS Defendants' #6 Motion. Defendants shall answer or otherwise respond to Plaintiffs' complaint by SEPTEMBER 28, 2018. For the future, the Court notes that motions for extensions of time must be filed at least four business days prior to the first affected deadline.
