MINUTE ORDER : Proof of service of process in this case on defendants Ermias Haile and Tewodage Mulugeta has been accomplished, indicating that defendant Haile was served on November 8, 2018, and that defendant Mulugeta was served on November 23, 2018. (See Return of Service/Affidavit, Nov. 12, 2018, ECF No. #3 ; Return of Service/Affidavit, Nov. 29, 2018, ECF No. #4 .) Defendant Haile's answer or other response to the complaint was due on November 29, 2018, and defendant Mulugeta's answer or other response to the complaint was due on December 12, 2018. To date, neither defendant has filed an answer or otherwise responded to the complaint. Accordingly, it is hereby ORDERED that by no later than January 2, 2019, plaintiff shall cause defaults against both defendants to be entered by the Clerk, see Fed. R. Civ. P. 55(a), and by no later than January 16, 2019, apply for entry of judgment thereupon, see Fed. R. Civ. P. 55(b), or show cause why a motion for entry of default judgment has not been filed.
