July 3, 2019 Opinion or Order MINUTE ORDER. In light of the parties' #7 Meet and Confer Report, it is ORDERED that the parties' Rule 26(a) Initial Disclosures shall be made on or before July 5, 2019; the deadline to seek leave to amend pleadings or add parties shall be August 20, 2019; the plaintiff's expert reports shall be disclosed and served by August 20, 2019; rebuttal expert reports shall be disclosed and served on or before September 19, 2019; and discovery shall close on October 19, 2019. The parties shall then submit a post-discovery joint status report on or before November 2, 2019 that advises the Court (a) whether the parties request referral for mediation or settlement ; (b) whether dispositive motions are anticipated and, if so, proposing a briefing schedule; and (c) whether the parties request a date for a pretrial conference. Before bringing a discovery dispute to the Court's attention the parties shall confer in good faith in an attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If the parties are unable to resolve the dispute informally, they shall jointly contact chambers at (202) 354-3400 to schedule a teleconference. Thereafter, the parties shall prepare a joint email to send to the Court at Friedrich_Chambers@dcd.uscourts.gov that provides a clear, concise description of the issues in dispute.
