MINUTE ORDER: The Court has received Defendants' #13 Consent Motion to Stay Proceedings. Defendant U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services ("USCIS") indicates that it has vacated its denial of Plaintiff's visa petition on behalf of a beneficiary. Now that the petition has been reopened, USCIS has given Plaintiff an opportunity to submit additional evidence before USCIS makes a decision again. That decision could resolve this case. Accordingly, with Plaintiff's consent, and in an exercise of the Court's discretion, the Court shall GRANT Defendant's #13 Consent Motion to Stay Proceedings. Defendants' obligation to answer or otherwise respond to Plaintiff's #1 Complaint shall be STAYED pending further order of the Court. The parties shall file a Joint Status Report by no later than OCTOBER 7, 2019, apprising the Court of the status of Plaintiff's reopened visa petition and proposing a schedule for any further proceedings.
