MINUTE SCHEDULING ORDER. Upon consideration of the parties' #6 Joint Meet and Confer Statement, the Court enters the following schedule: discovery shall open on November 20, 2019; parties shall be joined and pleadings shall be amended on or before December 20, 2019; discovery shall close on March 19, 2020. It is further ORDERED that on or before April 2, 2020, the parties shall file a joint post-discovery status report advising the Court whether (a) the parties request referral for mediation or settlement; (b) dispositive motions are anticipated and, if so, proposing a briefing schedule; or (c) the parties request a date for a pretrial conference. Before bringing a discovery dispute to the Court's attention, the parties shall attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally. If the parties cannot resolve the dispute on their own, they shall jointly send an email to the Court (at Friedrich_Chambers@dcd.uscourts.gov) that provides a clear, concise description of the disputed issues and proposes dates and times for a teleconference to discuss those issues. It is further ORDERED that on or before December 20, 2019, the parties shall file a joint status report advising the Court whether the case should be referred to a Magistrate Judge for full case management, including trial.
