Filing 3 RESPONSE TO ORDER OF THE COURT re Minute Order filed on 02/26/2020 filed by ALFREDA D. MILLET. (Per 3/19/2020 Minute Order filed in 19-1244; directing clerk to file response in above case) (jf) |
MINUTE ORDER. The instant lawsuit is the third employment discrimination case that plaintiff Alfreda Millet has filed related to her employment at the Internal Revenue Service. See Millet v. U.S. Department of Treasury, 19cv1244; Millet v. Mnuchin, 19cv1869. On October 23, 2019, this Court entered an order consolidating the two prior cases and instructing Millet to file a consolidated amended complaint, which she did on December 6, 2019. Millet does not explain why she initiated this new lawsuit instead of seeking to amend the consolidated complaint in Millet v. U.S. Department of Treasury, 19cv1244, to incorporate the additional claims and facts she asserts in this new suit. Accordingly, it is hereby ORDERED that, on or before March 18, 2020, Millet shall SHOW CAUSE as to why the instant case should not be consolidated with Millet v. U.S. Department of Treasury, 19cv1244, and why this Court should not issue an order barring her from initiating any additional new lawsuits relating to her employment at the Internal Revenue Service. Signed by Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson on 2/26/2020. (jag) |
