MINUTE ORDER: Mr. Jones has filed a #10 Motion to Stay, which the Court construes as a motion for extension of time to respond to #7 D.C. Defendants' Motion to Dismiss. Mr. Jones's request to stay proceedings is DENIED, but the Court will GRANT him an extension of time to respond. Given that the Federal Defendants have just filed #13 their Motion to Dismiss, Mr. Jones is directed to file a combined opposition to both motions to dismiss by July 10, 2020. See forthcoming Order for more details. Mr. Jones has also filed an #11 Opposition to the #1 D.C. Defendants' Notice of Removal, which the Court construes as a motion for remand to D.C. Superior Court. Given that his suit clearly arises under the federal Privacy Act, 5 U.S.C. 552, and involves federal defendants, 12 Mr. Jones's motion for remand is DENIED.
