January 22, 2021 Opinion or Order MINUTE ORDER. Upon consideration of the parties' #8 Meet and Confer Statement, it is ORDERED that the following schedule shall govern further proceedings: initial disclosures shall be exchanged on or before March 30, 2021; motions to add parties or to amend pleadings shall be filed on or before June 30, 2021; and discovery shall close on September 30, 2021. It is also ORDERED that on or before October 7, 2021 the parties shall file a joint post-discovery status report advising the Court whether: (a) the parties request referral for mediation or settlement; (b) dispositive motions are anticipated (and proposing a briefing schedule, if so); or (c) the parties request a date for a pretrial conference. Before bringing a discovery dispute to the Court's attention, the parties shall confer in good faith in an attempt to resolve the dispute informally. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 26(c), 37; LCvR 7(m). If the parties are unable to resolve the dispute informally, they shall jointly email the Court (at Friedrich_Chambers@dcd.uscourts.gov), providing a clear, concise description of the issues in dispute and proposing dates and times for a teleconference.
