MINUTE ORDER: On January 16, 2019, the Middle District of North Carolina entered a pre-filing injunction against Plaintiff in related litigation, prohibiting Plaintiff "from filing any action in the Middle District of North Carolina or in any other federal court against Walter Kidde and United Technologies, or any agent, employee, or assignee of these defendants, or against any other defendant based on or arising out of his employment with Walter Kidde or pertaining or relating to any allegations or legal claims made in this case, in Burrs v. Walter Kidde Portable Equip., Inc., No. 16-CV-1018 (M.D.N.C.), or Burrs v. Walter Kidde Portable Equip., Inc., No. 16-CV-1149 (M.D.N.C.)." Order and Pre-filing Injunction at 15, Burrs v. United Techs. Corp., No. 18-cv-491 (M.D.N.C. Jan. 16, 2019) (Dkt. 33). Because from the face of the complaint it is apparent that (1) Plaintiff's claims in this suit "relat[e] to [the] allegations or legal claims" in the Middle District of North Carolina litigation; (2) Plaintiff has named as defendants Walter Kidde; its agent Seyfarth Shaw, LLP; and its parent company Carrier Global Corporation, Dkt. 1 at 5-6 (Compl. 7, 8, 9), in violation of the pre-suit injunction; and (3) the judicial defendants are entitled to absolute immunity because Plaintiff's claims relate to their judicial function, Dkt. 1 at 6-9 (Compl. 10-12, 14-22); see Atherton v. D.C. Off. of the Mayor, 567 F.3d 672, 682 (D.C. Cir. 2009), the Court will DISMISS Plaintiff's complaint. See Gharb v. Mitsubishi Electric Corp., 148 F. Supp. 3d 44, 51 n.5 & 56 (D.D.C. 2015).
