MINUTE ORDER. On August 2, 2022, the Court ordered Defendant Stadium Group to respond to Plaintiff's #15 Motion for Default Judgment by August 15, 2022. Stadium Group has not done so. Ordinarily, the Court would direct the Clerk to enter default. Upon close inspection, however, Plaintiff's #15 Motion for Default Judgment indicates that it was "sent to opposing counsel using the PACER system on 30 July 2022." See ECF No. 15, at 3. On that date, there was no opposing counsel; Stadium Group's attorney withdrew from this action five days prior. See ECF No. 10. Thus, the Court is not confident that Stadium Group has been served with the Motion for Default Judgment. Accordingly, counsel for Plaintiff shall file a status report by August 19, 2022, indicating whether and how Stadium Group was served with the Motion for Default Judgment. Signed by Judge Florence Y. Plaintiff, however, has not requested an entry of default from the Clerk of the Court. See Fed. R. Civ. P. 55(b)(1). Plaintiff is therefore ORDERED to SHOW CAUSE, in writing, by August 5, 2022, why the claims against both Defendants should not be dismissed for failure to prosecute. See LCvR 83.23.
