MINUTE ORDER. Parties instituting a civil action in federal court are required to pay the applicable filing fee, 28 U.S.C. 1914(a), unless granted in forma pauperis (IFP) status under 1915. In this action for a writ of habeas corpus, the Petitioner has neither paid the $5 filing fee nor requested leave to proceed IFP. Accordingly, Petitioner has 30 days from the date of this order to either pay the $5 filing fee or apply for IFP status. Petitioner's failure to do either within the time provided will result in dismissal of the case without prejudice.
