MINUTE ORDER denying as premature #3 Plaintiff's Motion to Appoint Counsel. The "judge to whom the case is assigned" has discretion to appoint counsel from the Court's Civil Pro Bono Panel to represent a party proceeding in forma pauperis (IFP). LCvR 83.11 (b)(3). This case remains in an unassigned posture because Plaintiff has not complied with the Order, Dkt. 4, to provide the information needed to rule on his pending IFP motion. Consequently, Plaintiff's motion to appoint counsel is DENIED without prejudice, and the time for Plaintiff to comply with the prior order is extended by 30 days from the date of this order. The Clerk of the Court shall include with this minute order a courtesy copy of the order filed on January 12, 2023. Plaintiff's failure to provide the requested information within the additional provided will result in dismissal of the case without prejudice. SO ORDERED.
