MINUTE ORDER. The Court is in receipt of Defendants' #4 Consent Motion for Extension of Time to File Answer, in which Defendants seek a forty-five day extension. They explain that "the visa application at issue was refused under INA Section 221(g), and the consular officer has determined that additional information from sources other than the applicant may help establish whether the applicant is eligible for a visa." The requested extension will allow for this sharing of information, which may allow for further developments that may inform how the parties proceed in this case. Plaintiff consents to the motion. The Court therefore GRANTS the #4 Motion and ORDERS that Defendants shall respond to Plaintiff's #1 Complaint by no later than OCTOBER 30, 2023. Signed by Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly on 9/11/23.
