ORDER: The Court is in receipt of #9 Plaintiff's Motion for Leave to Amend, Transfer Venue and Extend Time for Service. Plaintiff desires to bring a claim under the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness ("PREP") Act, 42 U.S.C. 247d-6d. The United States District Court for the District of Columbia has exclusive jurisdiction over PREP Act claims. See 42 U.S.C. 247d-6d(e)(1). As such, the Court grants Plaintiff's Motion to Transfer Venue. The Clerk of Court is respectfully directed to transfer this case to the District Court for the District of Columbia. To the extent Plaintiff is seeking to amend his Complaint (see Dkt. 9), that request is granted. Plaintiff shall file the proposed Amended Complaint and serve all Defendants by 4/30/2024. Because the case is being transferred, the Court denies #15 Defendant Pfizer's Letter Motion for an Extension of Time to File Answer as moot.
