Filing 3 This is a text only entry; no document issued. ORDER This action was filed in the Columbus Division pursuant to the Court's local rules based upon Plaintiff's residency in Taylor County, which is within the Columbus Division. However, the Defendant is located in Houston County, which is within the Macon Division. And it appears that most of the witnesses (other than Plaintiff) and the relevant documents will be located in Houston County. Furthermore, Plaintiff will not be materially more inconvenienced by litigating this action in Macon instead of Columbus given the close proximity of Taylor County to Macon. Accordingly, for the convenience of the parties, the Court directs the clerk to transfer this action to the Macon Division. Ordered by US DISTRICT JUDGE CLAY D LAND on 01/08/2021. (CCL) |
