Filing 40 ORDER: Currently before the Court is a notice of settlement between Plaintiff Brandi Hudon and Defendant TransUnion, LLC (Trans Union). [Doc. #39 ]. The parties state that they have reached a settlement and anticipate needing approximately thirty (30) days to finalize it. [Id. at 1]. Because Plaintiff named two other Defendants, Experian Information Solutions, Inc. and Rentgrow, Inc., [see Dkt.], it would be inappropriate to close the matter at this time. Nevertheless, given the pending settlement between Plaintiff and TransUnion, it does not appear that there is any need for TransUnion to expend resources in meeting pretrial deadlines. Therefore, as to the claims Plaintiff raises against TransUnion, all pretrial deadlines are STAYED until thirty (30) days after the entry of this Order. As to the claims Plaintiff raises against the other parties, this stay SHALL have no effect, and the matter SHALL proceed according to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and the Local Rules of this Court. Signed by Magistrate Judge Alan J. Baverman on 10/26/2020. (tmf) |
