October 23, 2020 Opinion or Order Filing 6 ORDER - The matter is before the Court on plaintiff Gerald Blanchard's pro se Motion #5 , which this Court construes to contain both (1) a motion for reconsideration of a portion of this Courts prior Order of September 29, 2020, and (2) a motion for an extension of time to comply with this Court's directions to pay the filing fee or submit a complete application for leave to proceed in forma pauperis (IFP) and amend his Complaint. (See Mot. #5 at 1-2.) Plaintiff's Motion #5 is DENIED IN PART as to the portion of the Motion requesting reconsideration of this Courts Order of September 29, 2020. Plaintiff also requests an extension of time to comply with this Courts directions to pay the filing fee or apply for IFP status and amend his Complaint. (Mot. #5 at 1.) Plaintiff emphasizes that he is proceeding pro se and states that he is attempting to obtain counsel to represent him in this action. (Id.) Because plaintiff's motion is timely, and for good cause shown, plaintiff's Motion #5 is GRANTED IN PART as to his request for an extension of time. Plaintiff is ORDERED to (1) submit the full filing and administrative fees of $400.00, or execute and return a complete financial affidavit seeking leave to proceed IFP, and (2) file an Amended Complaint on or before NOVEMBER 30, 2020.
